The Hair Room
Wash, blow-dry, cut and finish. Colour with consultation. The room runs on patience — yours and ours.
A small ladies salon kept by women who still remember when going to the salon was a small occasion.
Monroe & Me opened in 2014 with one rule: never confuse beauty service with beauty rush. We do hair, lashes, nails, and facials the way our mothers knew them — slowly, carefully, with a coffee.
The Downtown salon sits in Burj Al Nujoom, a soft-lit room of mirrors and old films. Two sister branches — Al Barsha and Business Bay — keep the same standards. Same hands; different roads to get there.
Wash, blow-dry, cut and finish. Colour with consultation. The room runs on patience — yours and ours.
Classic, hybrid, volume. We sit you in the calm chair near the back and play something quiet.
Manicure, pedicure, gel — done properly, dried fully. No more pressing the button before you leave.
Cleansing, hydrating, glow. By appointment only, never rushed, always finished with green tea.
We have done quite a lot of weddings over the past decade — Khaleeji, Levantine, European — and learned one thing: the best bridal hair is the bride's hair, not someone else's.
Trial appointments included with every bridal booking. Mother-of-the-bride, sister-of-the-bride, friend-of-the-bride all welcome on the day. We've done the maths on chair-coordination.
"I have been going to Monroe & Me for years. They always make me feel like I have walked into a friend's salon, not a chain."
